Dear Mr. / Miss Single Person,
In January of 2005, Kol Simcha was launched in our community, with the endorsement of the Vaad HaRabbonim of Baltimore, to serve as a shidduch network endeavoring to help local singles find their bashert. With Hashem's help, we have been able to offer an inaugural lecture by Rabbi Yissocher Frand and a series of workshops for singles and those who care about them, featuring Rosie Einhorn, LCSW, Sherry Zimmerman, Esq. and Rabbi Yaakov Salomon.
In addition, we have organized our local shadchanim into an interconnected group which will be meeting on a regular basis to review the needs of our singles - both as a community and as individuals. Most importantly, we have begun gathering the names of all our singles so that we can service each of them on an individual basis.
Some of Baltimore's single men and women have already filed an application with Kol Simcha and have been personally interviewed, but many more have not. With this letter, we invite you to fill out the enclosed form and submit it to Kol Simcha by mail to 3000 Glen Avenue, Baltimore 21215 or via fax to 410-510-1757. Upon receipt (or shortly thereafter), we will contact you by email or phone to set up an interview with one of our shadchanim. It is important that you fill the form out in its entirety and that you indicate your preference for how we should get in touch with you (i.e. email, phone or regular post).
